Loyola University Maryland is a space committed to its deeply held values and the development of the whole person. At Loyola, there is an invitation to reflect on the questions: What are our obligations to one another, and more importantly, what is our responsibility in continuing the work of diversity, equity, and inclusion? There is a desire to build and sustain a community of dialogue, mutual respect, and civility. This community consists of people from diverse academic disciplines, cultures, experiences, and religious traditions that requires us to remain open to new challenges.
What's your best piece of advice to a prospective student?
Be a lifelong learner! Not just in the classroom but in your residence halls, Zoom calls, dining halls, the quad, Baltimore city, etc. The Jesuit mission nurtures the development of the whole person—so take advantage of the many opportunities at Loyola, both on and off campus. Also, get to know your peers and get to know their experiences, passions, goals… their STORIES!
