What's it like to be part of a Jesuit community?

Being a part of a Jesuit community means that the people around you – be it faculty, staff, administrators, or students – truly care about you and want you to succeed, both inside and outside of the classroom. Furthermore, your classes and your peers will challenge you to refine and develop your worldview constantly. A Jesuit community is an excellent place to grow, not only as a student, but as a person, too. You’re expected and encouraged to set a high bar for yourself in all aspects of your life.

What is your favorite weekend activity in Baltimore?

Exploring the culinary scene in Baltimore is always a favorite weekend activity of mine. Though I’ve lived in the city for a number of years, I’m still discovering stellar new restaurants at every turn. Whether it’s a casual lunch with friends at Belvedere Square or R House, or a full dinner at Da Mimmo or Amiccis in Little Italy, the food here is phenomenal. If you’re able to visit campus, I highly recommend leaving an afternoon free for lunch at Miss Shirley’s. It’s a Maryland favorite, and it’s within walking distance of campus.

Favorite food spot on campus?

Taqueria – the service and food are second to none!
