What's your favorite thing about Loyola?
My favorite thing about Loyola is the focus it has on a student's first-year experience. Being away from home in a new location where you may not know anyone can be scary for most of us. Through Loyola's Messina program, students are connected to a support network unlike any other. Messina helps students adjust quickly to college life, make life-long friends, build relationships with faculty and staff, and give students the opportunity to learn beyond the classroom.
What's your best piece of advice for a prospective student?
Try to visit as many schools as possible and don't be afraid to ask a lot of questions! Before your visit, have a list of questions ready. This time of year can be overwhelming (hopefully in an exciting, non-stressful way), however it is going to lead to making one of the biggest decisions you make for yourself. Making sure you are well-informed is key to choosing the right college for you. Enjoy this time!
