Campus Visitor Guidelines
We’re excited to welcome visitors to the Evergreen Campus for tours this academic year. To ensure the health and safety of our campus community and guests, we’ve established the following visitor guidelines and policies. Please review this information before your visit. We ask you to respect these guidelines for the well-being of our students, staff, and guests. Anyone who fails to abide by these guidelines will not be allowed to take a campus tour.
Before Your Visit
Limited Tour Capacity
All visitors are required to register in advance of arriving on campus. For the safety and well-being of both our staff and guests, we are limiting all families to (2) members: the prospective student, and one (1) guest, and all campus visits are limited to a maximum of one hour.
COVID-19 Visitor Screening Form
All guests are required to complete a COVID-19 Visitor Screening form before visiting campus. The form will be emailed to students the day before their scheduled visit. Students must complete this form for themselves and on behalf of their registered guest. Visitors who do not complete this form prior to arriving to campus will not be offered a student-led campus tour.
Guests should plan to reschedule their visit if anyone in the travelling party or household has tested positive for COVID-19, displays symptoms of COVID-19, or believes they have recently been exposed to COVID-19 two weeks prior to their scheduled visit.
Guests are required to bring a face covering when visiting campus. Face coverings should cover both your nose and mouth, including masks and face shields. Face coverings should be worn at all times while on the Evergreen campus.
On the Day of Your Visit
Contactless Check-In Process
On the day of your visit, you will receive an email explaining our mobile check-in process. When you arrive to campus, please follow signs for “Undergraduate Admission” located in the Humanities Center. Additional information on directions and parking will be included in your confirmation and reminder emails.
Campus Tour Details
Tour groups will be limited to a maximum of ten guests per tour guide, and all staff and guests must maintain 6 feet of distance from non-family members. For the safety of our campus community, residence halls and dining facilities will not be shown on tour and we are limiting the number of interior buildings that tour groups will enter.
Sanitization & Hygiene
Guests are encouraged to use hand sanitizer upon arrival. Our public restrooms will be available for use. We strongly encourage abiding by public health guidelines, including washing your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds, or using hand sanitizer.
After Your Visit
Loyola University Maryland is taking all precautions to safeguard our community; however we cannot eliminate the risk of COVID-19 exposure and infection on campus. Please be reminded that you are undertaking your visit at your own risk.
