  • Non-Departmental Electives are courses which are not required by the core or the major but must be taken outside of the department of the major as part of the minimum forty-course requirement for graduation.  
  • Each student must complete three non-departmental electives.  Free Electives may be taken in any department.
  • Often students declare a minor and use the elective courses to fulfill the minor requirements.
