Richard J Holland Memorial Scholarship

  • Deadline: March 15, 2022
  • Amount: $2,500

Description: Applicants for the Richard J Holland Memorial Scholarship must plan to enroll or be enrolled in full time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university for the entire academic year. Must demonstrate leadership and participation in extracurricular activities and demonstrate financial need. The award is renewable up to 3 years.

AWSCPA Scholarship Award

  • Deadline: March 15, 2022
  • Amount: $5,000

Description: The AWSCPA Scholarship Award provides financial assistance to outstanding female students majoring in accounting or an accounting-related field. Eligible applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Applicants can either be undergraduates or graduate students who have completed at least 30 semester hours. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA, be an AICPA Student Affiliate member (free of charge), and demonstrate some financial need. Applicants must be planning to pursue a CPA licensure but not presently have a CPA, and be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate (12 semester hours or equivalent per semester) or a full-time graduate-level student (9 semester hours or equivalent per semester) for the current academic year (Note: an exception may be granted if you plan to participate in an internship). Applicants must also be enrolled in a business and/or accounting program that is regionally, nationally, or internationally accredited for the full academic year. The program must be accepted by the state board of accountancy as meeting the educational requirements necessary for CPA licensure in the state you intend to become licensed OR in the state where your program is located.

National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation Scholarships

Description: The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation provides multiple merit-based scholarships to students pursuing degrees related to the restaurant industry (to include majors within the culinary, hospitality, and food service fields). Scholarship award amounts range between $2,500 and $10,000. In addition to the general NRAEF scholarships, a number of named leadership scholarships are also available through our application, requirements may vary but all applicants must be pursuing a degree related to the restaurant industry.

NIH Undergraduate Scholarship Program

  • Amount: $80,000

Description: The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Undergraduate Scholarship Program offers competitive, prestigious scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are committed to careers in biomedical, behavioral, and social science health-related research. The program offers scholarship support, paid research training at the NIH during the summer, and paid employment and training at the NIH after graduation. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited four-year undergraduate institution located in the U.S., undergraduate university 3.3 GPA or higher or be within the top 5% of your class, and have "exceptional financial need" as certified by the undergraduate institution financial aid office. Scholarships are awarded for one year, and can be renewed up to four years.

AMS Named Scholarships

Description: Applicants of the AMS Named Scholarships must be majoring in atmospheric or related oceanic and hydrologic science and must show clear intent to make the atmospheric or related sciences their career. Applicants must be enrolled full time in an accredited U.S. institution and must have a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 at the time of application. Applicant must demonstrate financial need to be eligible to apply for the Schroeder scholarship if sponsored for that year. Applicant must be entering his or her final undergraduate year in the upcoming fall semester to be eligible to apply.

Women in Defense Scholarship

Description: Through the WID Scholar program, Women In Defense encourages women to pursue careers supporting U.S. national security with a focus on defense or foreign policy. Applicants must be a woman currently enrolled or expected to be enrolled in an accredited university or college by the fall of 2022 academic term, be an undergraduate or graduate student (undergraduates must have attained at least junior level status by the fall of 2022 semester), demonstrate interest in pursuing a career related to national security or defense, demonstrate financial need, have a minimum grade point average of 3.25., and be a citizen of the United States.

Galvanize the Future: A Richard L. Brooks Memorial Scholarship Essay Contest

  • Amount: $2,500

Description: The American Galvanizers Associations (AGA) Galvanize the Future: A Richard L. Brooks Memorial Scholarship is available to full- or part-time undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in an accredited college or university in North America studying architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, construction management, material science, or a related field.
