Just Films is a film series exploring issues of faith and justice through film, TV, and music. This film series offers students the opportunity to engage their spiritual identities and beliefs with their passion for justice through contemporary popular art and culture.
We begin each session in prayer, before a viewing of the featured film, TV show, or piece of music. After the viewing, we discuss how this film/TV show/song engages with, challenges, or enhances our understanding of our spiritual identities and concerns for justice. Finally, we conclude each session as we began, in prayer. Popcorn, of course, is provided.
Location: St. Alphonsus House
Upcoming Dates and Themes: April 11, 2016 at 7 p.m. featuring Master of None: Sexism in Modern Culture
