The Spiritual Exercises Retreat

Students and Fr. Murray on Ignatian 5 Day Retreat posing in front of Loyola Retreat Center Sign

Experience the beauty and depth of Ignatian spirituality on this five-day adaptation of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola. For over five hundred years, the Exercises have helped men and women deepen their personal relationship with God. This retreat is individually directed, meaning that participants meet one-on-one daily with a Jesuit spiritual director. Liturgy will be offered daily, and the retreat team will also present brief reflections on key elements of the Spiritual Exercises.

This retreat is meant to be a capstone experience for members of the Loyola community, including students (undergraduate and graduate), faculty, staff, and alumni.

Each participant will have a private room and bath, so space is limited. A prerequisite for this experience is generally having made the silent AMDG retreat, but this may be waived on the basis of an interview. If interested, please register and you will be contacted about scheduling an interview.

March 4 - 9, 2018 (Spring Break)

The retreat begins Monday, March 4 (10 a.m. departure from the Loyola campus) and concludes Saturday, March 9 (returning to campus by 2 p.m.).

The registration fee is $75 for students and $150 for faculty and staff. Round trip transportation is included.
