Anand Macherla is a 2018 Venture For America Fellow and a data analyst at T. Rowe Price's Innovation Lab in Baltimore, MD. Originally from Albuquerque, NM, he previously founded, and exited, a startup that worked with artisans to produce and promote bismuth-based art and jewelry. In his free time, Anand enjoys reading, volunteering with Thread, and attending lectures around Baltimore.
Angela Gustus, MPA
Angela Gustus’ career spans over 20 years in government, private and nonprofit management. No matter what professional environment, her work has always been focused on helping others. Angela is the CEO / Co-Owner of CMAG and Associates, LLC. (a Business Consulting Firm) and CMAG Health Solutions, LLC (A Healthcare Organization). Angela is a motivational speaker/trainer, author of four books, consultant, and Syzygy Coach. Angela is a National Urban Fellow and she is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Public Administration.
Dave Luvison, DBA
Dave Luvison is a Certified Strategic Alliance Professional (CSAP) and an Executive in Residence at the Sellinger School of Business and Management at Loyola University Maryland. His research focuses on collaborative behaviors, teamwork, and interorganizational alliances. His academic research has been widely published. Prior to his academic career he spent 25 years creating and directing partner and alliance programs in industry.
Kim Wagner, JD, MBA '98
Kim Wagner has been teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Operations and Project Management since 2015, after a 30-year career in the consumer electronics aftermarket support industry. Kim led her family’s small business to revenues of almost $25 million, negotiated the sale of the business, and later became Executive Vice President of the new firm, responsible for the operations of warehouses in three countries. Kim also serves on nonprofit boards, providing legal and operational advice and is currently secretary of the Harford County Community Action Agency and the president of the Harford County Bar Foundation, which she co-founded.
Neil Davis, MBA
Neil was Director of Entrepreneurial Initiatives for TEDCO, developing and managing programs for supporting start-ups in Maryland. As part of the seed investment team, he led investments in promising Maryland-based start-ups. Prior to joining TEDCO, Neil was VP of Operations at the Emerging Technology Centers (ETC) incubator where he provided business consulting services to early-stage technology and biotechnology companies. He also has 30+ years of private sector public company experience in roles ranging from engineering to business development to new product launch to P&L management – all in both domestic and international settings.

Raquel Shutt, MBA, CWP is Owner and President of Advantage WSI. Raquel is an experienced event planner and executive with over 17 years of experience as the CEO of the highest rated event planning firm in the nation. Raquel has hospitality experience as well as experience growing, positioning and marketing valuable brands and event properties.
Stephen Sobul, MBA, CPA
Stephen has over a decade of public and private accounting experience working with a number of industries including real estate, service, and retail companies. His experience includes, but not limited to, daily accounting, process review and assessment, process and system implementations, and reporting. He is a Maryland CPA, a Charted Global Management Accountant, and Certified Fraud Examiner. In addition, Stephen believes in giving back to the community. He has helped run charity events and volunteers as a Baltimore County Volunteer Firefighter.
