The IDEA Space is an idea laboratory that encourages and facilitates interdisciplinary projects among students, faculty, and the larger Loyola community. Every member of the Loyola community is welcome here to develop their ideas and exercise their skills in creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The space is hosted by members of the Loyola Innovation Task Force during the week as a resource for collaboration and networking. The IDEA Space is a great place to share, develop, test and improve any idea, whether in an early stage or fully fleshed out.
Located on the main floor of Loyola Notre Dame Library, the space is situated next the library's Makerspace
with access to 3D printers and scanners, wide-format printers, video and audio equipment, design thinking and prototyping materials. The IDEA Space also hosts workshops, guest presenters, and Loyola classes throughout the semester, including sessions on entrepreneurship, the creative process, team building, and more.
