Summer 2020 at St. Mark School

   Summer 2020 Loyola Programs 
                Reading Readiness, Reading Comprehension and Written Language  
                Previously at St Mark School, NEW VIRTUAL platform!  
The Loyola University Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences Department through the Loyola Clinical Centers will be conducting group therapy.  Programs will be offered via Telepractice using a HIPAA secure Zoom site focusing on Reading Readiness, Reading Comprehension and Written Language. Services will be provided by graduate speech-language pathology clinicians under the supervision of licensed and certified speech-language pathologists.  

Reading Readiness Skills:  Small group instruction targeting phonological awareness, letter/sound association, and application to literacy.
Ages:  Students entering Kindergarten – 3rd grade (groups of 4-6 students) 

Reading Comprehension and Written Language (New this summer). Small group instruction targeting development of reading comprehension, narration and writing skills.  Ages:  Students entering 4th grade -6th grade (groups of 4-6 students) 

Dates: July 7 & 9, July 14 & 16, and July 21 & 23
Parent Meeting:  Monday, July 6, 2020.   Time: TBD
