Adding or Removing Viewers

In Panopto, access to viewing a recorded class is limited by default to the members of a class. If you wanted to add or remove viewers to a particular Panopto recording you can do that via the recordings settings menu.

To do this:

  1. Access your Panopto recordings by logging into your Panopto page. Find the recording that you want to chance viewership for, and click the “settings” gear below the recording.
  2. Click the “Share’ tab from the list of tabs on the left, then click the “Who has access” link, the first link on the page. (immediately following the “This session inherits permissions from its folder *Coursename* text):
  3. Use the grey “x” adjacent to each user (last column on the right) to remove users viewing rights to the recording. To add new users, search for their name via the Invite people search below the class list, and set the permission in which they are able to participate.
