Dear Loyola Community Members,
I am excited to share our Loyola University Maryland Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Strategic Plan.
This plan is undergirded by a developmental framework that aims to meet us where we are and help us work individually and collectively toward positive change. The plan operationalizes our mission and ties directly to our University Strategic plan, The Ignatian Compass: Guiding Loyola University Maryland to Ever Greater Excellence, and divisional plans and activities across our campus.
This plan would not have been possible without the work and commitment of the President’s Advisory Council on Equity and Inclusion. Thank you to the Council members for their leadership and care for our shared vision. I also extend appreciation to our student boards for their support and leadership in the development of this plan.
As CEIO, I am honored to lead our collaborative work; partner with you to meet our goals; and celebrate with you as we build toward our vision of diversity, equity, and inclusion. The full realization of this work depends on our collective efforts. This is not the work of a few of us; this is the work of all.
