Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer

Cheryl Moore-Thomas, Associate Vice President for Graduate Academic Affairs and DiversityCheryl Moore-Thomas, Ph.D., ’86, M.Ed. ’89, will serve as the University’s first chief equity and inclusion officer beginning Jan. 1, 2020. Read the announcement.

The chief equity and inclusion officer will serve as a member of the President’s Cabinet and lead the President’s Council on Equity and Inclusion.

This leadership position is integral to strengthening Loyola for today and for tomorrow. The position will help us address the challenges around racism and diversity issues we already face and become the welcoming, inclusive Jesuit, Catholic university we aspire to be.
