Boordy Vineyards Event FAQs

What can I expect at this event?
Join us outside this spring as we welcome some of Maryland’s finest Bluegrass bands. We will be meet at Boordy Vineyards on April 13th at 1:00pm to participate in their Bluegrass Series. There will be music, wine, and a great time with your fellow graduate students!

How much does the event cost?
The price is $10 per ticket and this includes a wine tasting, music, a GSO giveaway, and a complimentary wine glass from Boordy Vineyards. Tickets are not sold by the GSO, but may be purchased from Boordy Vineyards here. If there are still tickets available the day of the event, they will be sold at the door for $10.

Can I buy tickets at Boordy Vineyards?
We are told that the concerts in this series usually sell out; therefore, we cannot guarantee availability the day of the event.  You may wish to contact Boordy Vineyards directly at 410-592-5015.

Who will be playing?
The Mosley Brothers will be playing.

Can I bring guests who are not Loyola students to this event?
Yes. Students are welcome to bring guests to this event. Please make sure each guest has bought their own ticket for the event.

If I did not register online, can I still attend this event?
The event is a ticketed event, so you will need to purchase a ticket to attend.

Can I bring my own food, alcohol, or sporting equipment?
You may not bring in alcohol other than Boordy wines and only food purchased at Boordy is permitted in the Barn, Tasting Room, and Wine cellar. There are no ball games or sporting equipment allowed at Boordy.

What if it rains?
This event is rain or shine.

Where can I find the group upon my arrival?
We will gather near the entrance of the vineyard at 1pm and one of the GSO members will be holding a balloon. Please look for them to check in. Around 1:15pm we will make our way to a picnic table.

Can I arrive late to this event?
Yes, you can. That being said, we will be arriving at 1pm to get a great seat at the picnic tables, so it is best to plan on arriving by then. If you are not able to attend at 1pm, please feel free to join us when you get there!

Please email the GSO if you have any additional questions at gso@loyola.edu.
