Questions and Answers about the GSO Dave & Busters Event

Where in White Marsh is Dave & Busters located?

It is located right next to Buffalo Wild Wings at White Marsh Mall.

What if it rains?

This event will take place indoors, rain or shine.

What if I did not register or pay?

Dave & Busters is a public place where all are welcome; however, this is a ticketed event. You must register and pre-pay to receive the specials that go along with this event.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive at any time between 7-10pm.

How long can I stay?

The power cards and free video games are good all night, so you are welcome to stay and play until Dave & Buster’s closes at 2am. However, our event officially ends at 10pm, along with our private room reservation.  Please look after your own items or personal articles.

What does the $10 include?

The $10 includes a buffet-style dinner, $10 worth of points for a power card, and unlimited arcade games.

What's for dinner?

Glad you asked!  On the menu, we will have Monte Carlo Chicken, Oven Roasted Potatoes with Lemon Aioili Dipping Sauce, Baby Kale Caesar Salad, a Vegetable Medley, Hawaiian Rolls with Butter, and a Macaroni & Cheese station with various add-ins.  Unlimited Coffee, Tea, and Soda is also included.

How many points for play does $10 equal at Dave and Buster’s?

$10 on a power card equals to 60 points.  You can redeem points for fun prizes.

What is the difference between arcade games and non-arcade games?

Dave and Busters has arcade and non-arcade games. Arcade games (which will be unlimited for this event) are non-redemption games like shooting, skiing, or car racing games that do not earn you points for playing. Redemption games (played with points on your game card) are games like Big Brass Wheel, Angry Birds, Fish Bowl Frenzy, etc. that people earn tickets for playing.

Where do I redeem the tickets that I won after playing?

Tickets can be redeemed at the winners circle area for different prizes.

What happens when I run out of the 60 playing points?

Once the complementary 60 points is used up, you may buy more points to add to your card, or just continue to play the unlimited arcade games.

Can I bring a guest who is not a Loyola student?

Yes, you are welcome to bring a non-Loyola student guest, but they must be registered and pay prior to the event. Each student can bring up to one guest.

What should I tell the hosts when I arrive?

When entering Dave and Busters, you should tell the hostess at the front that you are with the Loyola University Maryland group and they will escort you to our private room. The private room is where the buffet is located and where you will receive your game cards.

Alcoholic drinks and outside foods?

Students may not bring outside food or alcohol into Dave & Busters. Alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase at the venue.

What about parking?

Free parking is available and plentiful.
