What will we be doing at this event?
Volunteers will show up to the Ronald McDonald house by 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 7th to start setting up and cooking breakfast in the Ronald McDonald House's kitchen. Children and their families will start showing up to eat breakfast around 8:30 a.m. We will serve them food and engage in conversation with a variety of people. Families are told that they can attend breakfast anytime from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. We will stay for the duration of breakfast hours and then clean up. This is a great way to learn about the struggles that these families face and also make someone's day!
Will I be able to eat the breakfast we cook?
Yes! Volunteers are encouraged to sit down and eat with families.
Do I need to bring anything?
No, the GSO will take care of the ingredients needed for meal prepping.
What should I wear?
Appropriate clothing that you are comfortable cooking in.
What is the address of the Ronald McDonald House and where can I park?
635 West Lexington Street, Baltimore MD, 21201. There is street parking around the house.
