Faculty, staff and administrators can support their classroom experience with Lynda.com, Loyola’s online learning resource. Through Lynda.com, employees can access hundreds of online course that cover the latest software applications. Lynda.com can be accessed from any computer with an internet connection at any time. Required Training for Supervisors
Ensuring compliance with University policies and federal and state personnel laws and regulations is an important responsibility of all Loyola supervisors. The following workshop topics represent the challenges most frequently faced by Loyola supervisors and the greatest opportunities for risk mitigation. Module 1, which is required for all supervisors, will cover Payroll FAQ's and Procedures, Absenteeism and Disability Management, Coaching, Recognition, Counseling and Progressive Discipline, and Loyola's Performance Management and Merit Pay Processes. Module 2, which is required only for supervisors with primary hiring responsibility, will cover Hiring Manager Basics, as well as VISA Hiring and Renewal Issues.
