Position Schedule: 2023-24 academic year. Recipient will work approximately 12-15 hours per week. may include some evening hours.
Remuneration: $1,800 will automatically go towards tuition. Student compensation will be $15/hour for approximately 16 weeks.
Position Term: 2023-24 academic year (Aug 2023– May 2024)

Qualifications
|
- Must be enrolled as a degree seeking graduate student in Loyola University Maryland.
- Experience or strong interest in supporting the development of social media, marketing, 2D, and videography projects and campaigns.
- Past experience with coaching and/or mentoring and/or leading others.
- Demonstrated written and oral communication, organization, detail oriented, and project management skills.
- High cultural competency required. Must demonstrate skills and knowledge in supporting the needs of diverse undergraduate students.
- Interest in community service, service- learning, community engagement, community organizing or social justice work.
- Ability and willingness to work with community partners, students, faculty, and campus partners.

Scope and Responsibilities
|
This position will support CCSJ’s overarching communications strategies. The role will serve as the advisor to CCSJ’s student publicity team, which oversees office-wide and periodic community partner requests for 2D, social media, photography, videography, and overall event promotion requests. The role will also work with CCSJ staff on communication strategies for CCSJ’s York Road Initiative’s activities, including advertising for the Govans Farmers Market and Fall and Spring free legal clinics. The role will also identify channels to promote service and justice across campus. The position will primarily support CCSJ’s Executive Director and undergraduate student employees.

Position Duties
|
- Provide ongoing support to CCSJ undergraduate student employees who serve on the office’s PA team (3 students).
- Support the development of a campaign calendar for the office.
- Identify creative ways to promote service and justice activities across campus. Identify specialized audiences not currently involved in CCSJ programs and identify respective segmented approaches.
- Develop special outreach promotions around “Seasons of Service” and other notable service and justice thematic weeks.
- Support the CCSJ’s York Road team in executing publicity strategies for York Road public events and programs.
This position will report to the Executive Director of CCSJ and the York Road Initiative. Ongoing support will be provided.
