Hours and Wages

  • 20 hours per week (including nights and weekends)
  • $6,750 payment for Spring 2019 Semester, which includes payment for up to 6 credits per semester and remaining amount paid as bi-weekly stipend ($4,050 towards tuition, $2,700 stipend)


  • Bachelors degree required
  • Applicants must be enrolled in a full-time graduate degree program at Loyola University Maryland. 
  • Applicants with previous experience in extracurricular activities, strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and experience working with students are desired.


  • Establish and maintain regular office hours. In addition to office hours, some night and weekend work will be required.
  • Provide assistance to the Director of Student Activities with management and execution of Student Club and Organization management including, but not limited to:
    • Planning and running leadership and management training for clubs; annual leadership summit, mandatory club funding workshop, program planning workshop, leadership transition training
    • Managing and tracking all club financial activity, such as fundraisers, reimbursements, and donations
    • Coordinate fall and spring Student Activities Fair; registration, event logistics, marketing, day-of management
    • Manage club event reservations; confirm that all forms are filled out properly, communicate with Event Services staff and clubs; communicate with Motor Pool staff for MP reservations
    • Work with Club Council to track Club of the Month
    • Provide coverage at designated social events throughout the school year, as needed. Such events may include:
      • Family Weekend (first week in October)
      • Senior Class Social Events (Countdown events every 50 days throughout the year and Senior Week during the third week of May)
      • Loyolapalooza (end of April)
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director and Assistant Director(s) of Student Activities.

Position has potential to become full-year Graduate Assistantship for the 2019-2020 Academic Year
