The Language Learning Center is a multimedia resource center dedicated to supporting language, literature, and cultural studies at Loyola. Our facilities include a state of the art computer lab, two video viewing rooms that double as international virtual conference centers, an extensive foreign language film collection, and a comfortable reading room perfect for independent study as well as group projects.
The LLC, along with its friendly staff, serves as the technology hub for the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, providing both the equipment and support to bring language studies to life using the latest technology. Learn more about the Language Learning Center.
The LLC is always accepting applications for student employees. To learn more, come visit us or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Black History Month Biographies
Black History Month often focuses on the American (US) story, but as we know in Modern Languages & Literatures, the history of people of color extends beyond the borders and language of Anglophone countries. During Black History Month, the LLC will highlight stories of black history that go beyond the English speaking world. Will you contribute a biography? We will post these stories through the LLC Black History Month Portal and link them with a photo and a brief (50-100 word) story or biography. Links to other external resources are strongly encouraged. We will collect many voices (both students and professors) writing about the diverse experiences and lives of black people, art, and literature around the globe.
Whose story will you tell?
To contribute, email Dr. Patrick Brugh (email@example.com) with the name of the biography you want to submit and a date when you can submit it.
