a. Write about a club, organization, or event that you participate in (e.g. Caribbean Student Union, Relay for Life, SGA, Midnight Breakfast, a weekend with OAE).
b. Write about a favorite course you took at Loyola, as if you were trying to convince another student to take it next semester: What were the topics covered in the class? Any hands-on experiences or interesting discussions? Any out-of-classroom excursions or lectures that complemented the subject matter? What did the professor do to make the class memorable? What can other students expect to take away from this class?
c. Write about why you decided to come to Loyola: Which factors played a major part in your decision to become a Greyhound? What was your first impression of campus? What was your first visit like? How would you describe the people and community here? How has your perspective changed since you’ve been a student here (has anything surprised you or is it different than you anticipated?)? What makes the college experience at Loyola unique?
d. Write about the best thing you’ve discovered about being a college student. Is it the opportunity to challenge yourself with academics? Living in proximity to your closest friends? More ways than you’ll ever be able to take advantage of to serve, get involved, or find leadership positions? Why do you have school spirit for Loyola, and how would you put it into words?
