Fr Jean Bosco Niyokwizera, SJ was born and raised in Burundi, East Africa. He is grateful for his immersion in a wealth of experiences through  different and enriching encounters he had during his formation at different Jesuit Universities (Centre Sèvres/Paris; The Pontifical Gregorian  University/Rome; Hekima University College/Nairobi; Boston College/Boston). He has also been shaped by different missions entrusted to him by  the Society of Jesus (in Burundi, Rwanda, Kenya, France,Italy,USA). He feels particularly rejuvenated and energized by the youth ministry. During  his studies at Boston College, he has been ministering to the African Catholic Communities in Worcester, MA, Salem, MA, Quincy, MA, Malden,  MA, as well as in Lewiston and Portland, Maine.  He enjoys reading, walking, traveling, listening to music, watching and playing Basketball and  Soccer. He is delighted to be part of the Loyola University Maryland Community.
