Youth and Family Programs
Emily Fornatora joined the Loyola University Maryland Department of Recreation and Wellness in November 2021 as the Assistant Director of Youth and Family Programs. Emily is the Director of Camp Greyhound where she oversees all camp operations. In her position, Emily manages and is the point of contact for all youth and family programs through the Recreation and Wellness department.
Emily was born and raised in Maryland. She completed her undergraduate degree at Towson University in Sport Management. During her time at Towson University, Emily participated in undergraduate research and is a published author in the Sport Management Educational Journal. Upon completing her undergraduate degree, Emily became the Athletic Director for a Youth Sports company where she ran summer camps and youth programming before joining the Loyola Recreation and Wellness team. She has continued to follow her passion in the youth sport industry.
When not shaping kids lives through sport, Emily enjoys traveling with friends and family. She enjoys hiking new trails, exploring new cities, and finding new adventures throughout life.
