Kelly Marbury

Assistant Director of Recreation and Wellness
(Student Success & Patron Engagement)

Kelly Marbury joined the Loyola University Maryland Department of Recreation and Wellness in December of 2018 as the Assistant Director of Student Success and Patron Engagement. Kelly manages student engagement initiatives for the department such as hiring, training, evaluation processes and oversight of the Student Leadership Team. Kelly is also responsible for member services and is the main point of contact for patrons or those looking to obtain a membership at the Fitness and Aquatic Center.

Born and raised in Delaware, Kelly left the mid-Atlantic to pursue a Bachelors Degree in Communications from Jacksonville University in Florida. As an undergraduate student, she developed a passion for the field of student affairs after serving in a student leadership role. This eventually inspired her to seek a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Lynchburg in Virginia. After graduate school, she held  several student development roles that helped to further expand her ability to both challenge an support the students she has had the privilege of working with.

In her free time, Kelly enjoys discovering fun activities to do with her family and friends. She loves to travel whether it be a simple road trip or a flight to another continent and wants to experience as much culture and cuisine this world has to offer. Her favorite pastime is cheering at the top of her lungs for the Philadelphia Eagles with her family and she can often be seen walking the streets of Baltimore proudly sporting midnight green.
