Susannah Taylor

Assistant Director of Recreational Sports

(Fitness and Wellness)

Susannah joined the Loyola University Maryland Department of Recreational Sports in July of 2017 as the Assistant Director of Fitness and Wellness. In this position, Susannah oversees group fitness, personal training, the fitness floor, and wellness. She also serves as the co-chair of the Wellness Infusion Network on campus. Susannah holds numerous fitness certifications including certified personal trainer with NASM, Behavioral Change Specialist with NASM, and AFAA primary group exercise.

Susannah is originally from upstate New York. She graduated from SUNY Oswego in 2008 with a degree in Wellness Management. She then moved to Richmond, VA where she started her career as a personal trainer before becoming the Fitness Coordinator at the University of Richmond. She also served as the head women’s lacrosse coach at the Steward School during that time. In 2012, Susannah took the opportunity to help open a state of the art recreation facility at Auburn University as she joined the team as the Fitness Coordinator. Her primary role at Auburn was to create and implement wellness and fitness programming, train student instructors, and oversee student professional development. Susannah received her Masters in Physical Activity and Health from Auburn University in 2015.

In her spare time, Susannah enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves to stay active, and explore Baltimore with her sweet boxer, Barclay.
