How to Start a Club

Interested in starting a new club?  It's easy! Submit a new club application that will ask for the following info:

  • A list of at least five club members
  • A mission statement
  • A full-time faculty member or administrator who will act as moderator and will verify this in writing

New Club Application

A student holding a paid position as an intern or employee with an outside organization may not start a club based on the outside organization; this is a violation of Loyola University Maryland's policy on Solicitation.

Once the above mentioned information is submitted to the office of student activities, clubs/organizations will be reviewed for approval. Until that time, they are not officially recognized by Loyola University Maryland.
