Are you ready to lead, Loyola?
Supported by our University values, the regular practice of leadership and followership allow our students to make their own unique contributions to the people and communities around them. We challenge our students to unleash their potential and lead by example through a wide range of development and positional opportunities. In addition to the annual Leadership Fair held each November, this page serves as a virtual space to showcase and connect students with available opportunities.
Positional opportunities allow students to exercise leadership through campus positions that may involve peer education, mentorship, governance, or community service in addition to supporting the operations of campus programs and departments. To learn about selection process, qualifications and time commitment for each positional opportunity, visit the links below or make contact with the department.
Consider the following positional opportunities to lead:
Positional opportunities are offered by clubs and organizations (check out the Activities Fair each September and February), or consider starting a new club/organization through Student Activities.
Developmental opportunities help students facilitate personal growth and develop their leadership skills and potential. To learn how to get connected with these opportunities, visit the links below or contact us at email@example.com.
Consider the following opportunities to develop:
Additional training and development opportunities for campus organization leaders are offered by Student Activities.
We invite faculty and staff to nominate emerging and outstanding student leaders for these opportunities through the Student Leadership Nomination Form. This process allows departments to identify qualified and outstanding students to fulfill specific roles and positions which are critically important to the Loyola community. Additionally, the process helps identify students who may be interested in pursuing a variety of development opportunities through leadership programs.
For your convenience, nominators may complete the form with up to five students. If you have more than five students you would like to nominate, you may submit another form.
