New Hire Technology Orientation

By the end of this virtual overview new employees will have a better understanding of navigating the Technology and other technical resources and tools at Loyola. Employees will explore how to set up their username, password and two-factor authentication, navigate Loyola.edu, Inside Loyola, Loyola Today, Office 365, and learn more about available software, technology loans, printing & faxing, voicemail, Wi-Fi, and how to access brand communication templates.

Introduction to Colleague

At the end of this virtual introduction, employees will understand how to access Colleague, how to complete a generic search and the process to receive access to this application. 

 

Requirements:

Your role at Loyola must require access to take this introduction. This course is required to take before end-users receive access to Colleague, Loyola's Enterprise Resource Planning & Student Information System.

Become a Content Owner

Need access to update your department's website? Attend a Sitecore training class. It provides the necessary skills to edit a page, publish a page, and add images and links in Sitecore. All new content owners must attend this course before receiving access to edit a Loyola website.

By the end of this virtual course, users will gain the basic skills needed to use the various collaboration tools in Microsoft teams to create a team, manage owners/membership, create channels, upload and create files, explore using co-authoring tools, and learn more about @mentions and best practices for hosting a meeting.
