Alumni Memorial Chapel- 8 a.m.
Reception to follow in the Reading Room (3rd Floor Andrew White Student Center)
Academic regalia is not required. All are welcome to attend.
Special Awards and Departmental Medals Ceremony
McManus Theater- 10 a.m.
Academic regalia is required. Faculty and administrators will assemble in the College Center rooms 113 and 114 at 9 a.m. Light refreshments will be served. The procession will begin promptly at 10 a.m. A reception will follow in the Hug Lounge. Academic apparel rental information is located below. IMPORTANT NOTE: The time of this event has been moved up an hour earlier than previous years.
Reitz Arena- 1:30 p.m.
Faculty and administrators will assemble in the corridor outside the College Center Conference Rooms 113 and 114 no later than 12:45 p.m. The procession will begin promptly at 1:10 p.m. Please wear academic regalia and leave any valuables in your office. Saturday, May 16
Royal Farms Arena (201 West Baltimore Street, Baltimore, Md. 21201)
11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Faculty and Administrators will enter at the Pass Gate on the Hopkins Place (east) side by 9:45 a.m. and assemble in rooms 107-111. Refreshments will be served, and the procession will begin promptly at 10:45 a.m. Please wear academic regalia and leave any valuables at home or in your campus office. Academic apparel rental information is located below.
If you're interested in shuttle service to the Arena, please note this on the RSVP form. A shuttle will depart from the Jenkins parking lot at 9 a.m. and will return immediately following the Commencement Ceremony. Free parking will be available in the Jenkins lot on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Important Note: Royal Farms Arena has increased all security measures and now implements walk through metal detectors. ALL bags will be searched upon entry to the Arena. Bags larger than 13 5/8" x 15 1/4" WILL NOT be permitted. There are lockers available to rent for your convenience.
Small personal cameras (no large detachable lenses) and camera phones are permitted. Weapons of any kind, professional cameras, video cameras, Go-pros, iPads, tablets, and Selfie Sticks are strictly prohibited.
Academic Apparel Rental Information
To rent academic apparel for use at one or more of the Commencement activities, please contact Kristen Fisher at email@example.com. Pricing information is below. The deadline to rent regalia is Wednesday, May 6. Your regalia will be available for pickup from the bookstore on Tuesday, May 12. Please make your check payable to the Loyola University Maryland Bookstore and bring your payment with you when you go to pick up your regalia. All rentals must be returned to the bookstore on Monday, May 18.

- Doctor: $90
