Orientation

Experience Baltimore

Students volunteering

If you’re curious about the city you’ll be calling home for the next four years, this is the program for you! Experience Baltimore beyond the campus through different lenses and learn about our vibrant city. Join us as we explore unique and colorful neighborhoods that reveal the heart, spirit, and diversity of our city’s residents! Build new relationships within your Loyola family and Baltimore neighbors through community-led learning, individual and group reflection, and engaging conversations. Take a fresh look at this historic city!

To learn more about how Experience Baltimore can play a role in inspiring continued learning and exploration of our city, read how former Experience Baltimore participant and peer facilitator, Andrew Boyadjian (’19), continued to understand, learn, and discover a sense of belonging within the city throughout his four years at Loyola (Loyola Magazine and The Baltimore Sun, 2019).

Dates

Sunday, August 25 - Wednesday, August 28, 2019

Cost

$135 (includes all meals, activities, transportation, and supplies)
