Language Enhancement and Advancement Program

L.E.A.P. is our Language Enhancement and Advancement Program. Looking to strengthen your foreign language skills? Want to get ahead on your language requirement and free up class time for your major? Make it happen in this fun four-day immersion refresher course taught by faculty in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Loyola!

L.E.A.P. takes place just before the start of the Fall 2018 semester, so you can move in to your residence hall early and jump-start your college adventure! These refresher courses are designed for students who will be enrolling in second and third semester Spanish or French classes in the fall. We offer focused language study using the latest technology, individual attention, and learning strategies from experts on how to be successful in the core language requirement. On the last day of the program, you can retake the placement exam. There will be evening activities, including a barbecue, movies, dinner in an ethnic restaurant, games, skits, dancing and more! Get ready for travel on the road to language success!

Sunday, August 26 - Thursday, August 30*
*On Thursday, L.E.A.P. classes will end at 12:00 pm, before the 2018 Fall Welcome Weekend starts.
