Each incoming student is expected to participate in Summer Orientation. Some aspects will be virtual and it will be complemented by an in-person experience at the end of June. Students can expect to receive a checklist of items to complete prior to arriving in the fall and these items are part of the virtual orientation program.

*Students who cannot attend in-person orientation will be assigned an Evergreen and will receive all materials provided during in-person orientation.

In-Person Orientation Schedule

8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Check-In/Arrival
Optional Information Sessions

10:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. Welcome Session for Students & Families 
This session is the official beginning to the Summer Orientation program.
12:00 p.m. - 12:45 p.m.

Evergreen Small Group Time
Students will be divided into small groups to get to know their classmates and review the orientation schedule.

1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Student Information Sessions
Students will learn more about campus life, academics, and general expectations of their time as a Loyola student.
There will be a breakout session for commuter students during this time.

 3:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Prayer Service & New Student Blessing
Students and their families will gather join together for this special service.
 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Information Fair
Representatives from campus departments, student organizations, and various vendors will be available to answer questions and offer additional information.

 5:00 p.m. Departure from Campus
