On Campus Lodging

All students are required to stay on campus in one of our residence halls during the orientation program, and are placed into rooms with other members of the Class of 2022. All students attending Summer Orientation stay on campus overnight, even if they live locally or plan to commute to campus during the academic year. Towels and sleeping linens are provided.

In recent years, approximately half of accompanying family members have chosen to stay on campus as well, and are housed in a separate residence hall (all of Loyola's residence halls are air-conditioned). In some cases, a parent travelling solo will share an apartment with a parent of the same gender from another family. Private bathrooms and sleeping areas are provided for each person, with a common living area and kitchen. Towels and sleeping linens are provided. There is an opportunity to indicate mobility issues on the reservation form.

If parents/family members choose to stay off campus, we refer you to our compiled a list of hotels in the area.

More information regarding lodging at Summer Orientation may be found under Frequently Asked Questions.
