Loyola Microbiology Student Places Second in Prestigious J. Howard Brown Award
Each year the J. Howard Brown Award
is presented by the American Society for Microbiology, Maryland Branch
to an outstanding graduate and undergraduate student who is making a contribution worthy of recognition in the field of microbiology.
This year Loyola rising senior and Hauber student, Kathryn Lackey, '20, has been awarded second place for undergraduates in the state of Maryland. Kathryn and two other students will go on to the National ASM Meeting in San Francisco.
