Govanstowne Farmers’ Market returns for fifth season

Govanstowne Farmer’s Market

Loyola University Maryland’s York Road Initiative will host the fifth annual Govanstowne Farmers’ Market on Wednesdays from 3 – 7 p.m. between June 3 and Sept. 30, 2015. The market will be located in the parking lot of Loyola's Transportation and Public Safety complex at 5104 York Rd.

The market features five new vendors this year, which will have a variety of produce, baked goods, clothing, jewelry, and home goods for sale. 

Vendors include Big City Farms, Richards Fish & Crabs, Stillwater Baking Company, Pie Time, Silverwear, and more.

Local organizations and non-profits, including the Govans Library, the Govanstowne Business Association, York Road Partnership, UMD Extension Master Gardeners, Wide Angle Youth Media, Loyola Clinical Centers, and many others, will also join the weekly market.
