Loyola University Maryland’s men’s and women’s lacrosse teams advanced to the 2016 NCAA Championships after each team won their respective Patriot League title.

Men’s lacrosse earned the No. 7 seed and defeated Duke University on May 14 to advance to the quarterfinals. That game, against crosstown rival Towson University, is scheduled for May 22 at 2:30 p.m. in Columbus, Ohio, and will be broadcast on ESPNU. Loyola is hosting a tailgate in Columbus before the game and regional watch parties in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Baltimore, and New York City. More information about those events and how to purchase tickets for the game is available at loyolagreyhounds.com.

Women’s lacrosse lost to Duke University in the team’s first round matchup. A recap of the team’s game against Duke is available at loyolagreyhounds.com. This is the sixth straight year women’s lacrosse has competed in the NCAA Championships.
