Admission Requirements

Application Deadline

Spring Entry Only: December 1*

*At the discretion of the department, applications will continue to be reviewed after the application deadline on a space-available basis.

The Cyber Security Certificate program is a part-time program and is not available for international students in need of maintaining full-time student status (9 credits or more per semester) on an F-1 student visa.

Applicants for admission must possess an undergraduate degree. Applicants will be evaluated based upon quantitative criteria consisting of prior academic achievement and professional experience, particularly noting a strong grade point average and quantitative background. In some cases, the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) may be required. Admission to the Cyber Security Certificate program does not guarantee admission to the Professional's MBA which has separate entrance requirements; if an applicant becomes interested in enrolling in the Professional's MBA program, they will need to follow the GMAT requirements of that program. The Committee on Admission and Retention is the final arbiter. Applicants will be notified in writing of the admission decision.
