About the Program

The Sellinger Master of Science in Finance is a customizable, part-time, evening program designed for busy professionals who aspire to financial leadership positions. Classes are offered year-round at our Timonium and Columbia Graduate Centers. You may finish the program in as few as 10 courses/30 credits in approximately two years.

As a student in the Master of Science in Finance, you will find yourself in the company of people from a wide variety of industries including finance, accounting, management, government/defense and technology, among others. Students gain technical skills and develop expertise in financial analysis, corporate finance, and investment management, while those with a finance background will have the opportunity to deepen their proficiency in specific areas including investment banking, derivatives, financial analysis, and investment analysis. 

The Sellinger Master of Science in Finance was launched in 1975. Many alumni hold prominent positions in organizations across the region, and graduates join an elite network of more than 12,000 professionals throughout leading business, non-profit, and government organizations.

Foundation Course Waivers

The Master of Science in Finance can be completed in as few as 30 credits and as many as 40 credits depending on how many foundation course waivers are received. To find out which foundation courses may be waived, submit a request for a complimentary foundation course waiver analysis by sending a completed waiver request form along with your resume and transcripts to mba@loyola.edu
