Loyola's Financial Management Association chapter hosts executive panel
Loyola 's Financial Management Association (FMA) chapter, together with the Career Center, organized a special panel on February 16, 2016 to support students pursuing successful careers in business, particularly in finance. The panel featured Loyola Board of Trustees who are senior executives: James Forbes, the current Vice Chairman of UBS Group, Americas Managing Director; J. Richard Fredericks, Managing Director at Main Management; and Kevin Finnerty, partner and co-founder of Galton Capital Holdings LLC. The speakers discussed careers on Wall Street, gave advice and recommendations for students, especially for freshmen and sophomores on how they can start planning and preparing now, and answered questions from the students. The event drew over 70 Loyola underclassmen.
