Sellinger School names Scott Moores director of new Executive Education program

Loyola University Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business and Management named Scott Moores, MBA ’96, director of Executive Education and business development. Moores will build and lead Sellinger’s new Executive Education program, which offers business seminars for managers aspiring to leadership positions. Moores will also grow business relationships for the Sellinger School.

Moores brings more than 15 years of project management and organization development experience, specializing in building new capabilities and increasing efficiency. Prior to becoming director of Executive Education and business development, Moores was serving as project manager for the Executive Education program launch.

He is the owner and principal of WSM Consulting, which helps organizations improve human, operational, marketing, and financial performance. His clients have included The Baltimore Sun Media Group and its related companies.

Previously, Moores was director of organization development and strategic projects as well as director of school, client, and student services for Calvert Education Services, a national home schooling company. He was also vice president of organization development and strategic projects for The Baltimore Sun Media Group.

In addition, Moores teaches project management for University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He is a member of the American Society for Quality, the Project Management Institute, and the Exit Planning Exchange.

Moores also served as a major in the United States Marine Corps.

He holds Six Sigma Green Belt and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications. Moores earned an MBA from Loyola and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. He lives in Hunt Valley.
