Jayne Jazwiecki
Jayne Jazwiecki, ’09, hopes future Loyola students embrace every opportunity given to them within the University and in Baltimore, because not every career follows a traditional path. Jayne, who earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Loyola, started working as an assistant marketing analyst for a health care company in Baltimore after graduation. Her career took an unexpected turn into human resources when she applied for a recruiting specialist position. Today Jayne is the senior manager, site leader, and human resources business partner for Under Armour’s Innovation, Research & Development team located in Portland, Ore. Jayne, who has worked for Under Armour for nearly a decade, was an Evergreen at Loyola, played intramural sports, and studied abroad in Auckland, New Zealand—which is one of her fondest memories. She believes her education prepared her for a diverse and changing world: “My experience at Loyola prepared me for post-graduation by teaching me to be well-rounded and to seek different perspectives.” Jayne built long-lasting relationships at the University including with her professors, like Brad Fountain, affiliate professor of marketing, with whom she still keeps in touch.
