Matt Briand was born and raised in Burlington, VT. He received a Bachelor of Arts in History and International Studies from the University of Richmond and a Master's Degree in International Relations from Syracuse University. Matt worked in data analytics for a consulting firm in Washington, DC before entering the Jesuit novitiate in 2017. After professing his First Vows, Matt was missioned to study at Saint Louis University, where he earned a Master's of Arts in Philosophy and Theology for Ministry. He currently teaches and helps in campus ministry at Loyola Blakefield.
