Emerging Scholars: A Celebration of Graduate Research

Over 40 presentations will pique your curiosity and stimulate your mind.  Celebrate our graduate community with us!

Loyola University Maryland will host the eighth annual “Emerging Scholars: A Celebration of Graduate Research,” an event highlighting the scholarly work of Loyola’s graduate community, on Friday, April 21, 2017. The evening features an awards ceremony in the library's Ridley Auditorium, oral presentations, and a poster session and reception. Emerging Scholars is now also a part of Loyola University Academic Excellence Weekend.

Awards to be presented at the Emerging Scholars event include The Wise Medal for Distinguished Achievement in Education at the Graduate Level, The Dr. Bernard A. Saltysiak Medal for Clinical Excellence in Speech Language Pathology, the Dr. Barry K. Estadt Medal for Excellence in Pastoral Counseling, the Graduate Medal for Achievement Excellence in Psychology, and the Loyola University Maryland Award for Research in Theology.

The event is sponsored by graduate studies and graduate student services.
