Biography
Melissa Mulieri is an educator with over 17 years in the profession. She has a passion for professional development and coaching and has focused on mentoring and supporting pre-service and novice teachers.
She is a Maryland native and grew up attending schools in the area before earning her B.A. in Psychology and Elementary Education at McDaniel College. She then went on to work in Harford County Public Schools as a classroom teacher and pursued her M.A. in Administration and Supervision at Notre Dame University of Maryland. During her tenure, she worked closely with administration to provide professional development and to develop her leadership skills within the school community. This pathway positioned her well to begin her work in the Teacher Education Department where she teaches and supports pre-service and conditional teachers who are seeking certification in Maryland.
