Parents of Current Students

Your past.
Their future.
Our collaboration.

Your child's Loyola experience is the beginning of adulthood – and you're an integral part of both of these important life phases. You have prepared your son or daughter well for college, but there will always be questions that need answering, and details that need ironing out during their four years at Loyola. Our parent resources are designed to keep you in the loop about everything you need to know – from housing information to parent events to details about financial aid. And in addition to offering parent resources, know that if your child ever needs help – academically or otherwise – during his or her time at Loyola, we are here to help them in any way we can. The caring staff of our academic advising and student services offices will be right there to offer all the support they need to succeed – and for you to rest easy.

Resources

RESOURCES ABOUND.

Even after your child leaves for college, he or she will still turn to you for support. We understand your need to stay well-informed – and we're here to help. For information about the nuts and bolts of college – from housing selection and study abroad to financial aid and Career Center resources – we'll make sure that you remain the well-prepared parent that you've always been. Consider us your shoulder to lean on (we know you need one too, from time to time).

Contact

Stay in touch.

Should you have any questions, Loyola's professors, departments, and on-campus centers are available to address any and all of your questions.

Information

INSIDE INFORMATION.

Sometimes, between classes, clubs, and extra-curricular activities, it can be difficult for your child to keep you up-to-date on all of Loyola's goings-on (and trust us – there are a lot). We've made it easy on you. Calendars, newsletters, and information are readily available, so that when you manage to get your student on the phone, you can talk about the important things – like their most recent lab experience, acting exercise, or Baltimore excursion.

Parent Connections

Greyhound pride is a family thing.

One of the great things about sending your student to Loyola is that you have the opportunity to experience college all over again – through their eyes this time. When your child joins the Loyola community, you too become a Greyhound for life – and this means that you can also benefit from Loyola's excellent guidance, support network, and service resources. Whether you seek volunteer information, details about regional Loyola events, or if you just want to chat with other Loyola parents, we encourage you to connect with the members of your own lifelong network.

Events

OUR CALENDAR OF EVENTS.

Loyola's Evergreen campus is not just where your child makes great strides – it's grassy quadrangles, wood-paneled libraries, deep armchairs, and a campus that feels the way a college should. It's also the host to countless events that act as a bridge between family and University, past and present. This is why we place so much importance on parent events, both on- and off-campus. From that first parents' weekend to the graduation festivities, we hope you will experience the Evergreen campus – and the Loyola community – for yourself.
