Based on teacher availability and the needs of majors, some 300-level courses are offered on a rotating basis. Students should consult this cycle to help them decide which course to take in a given semester, and which to take during a later semester in their college careers.

EN 301, Chaucer, and EN 366, American Literature to WWI, normally will be offered every third semester. 

Ordinarily, the department will offer at least four seminars each semester.
