Loyola University has long supported the writing and literary efforts of its students. Nowhere is this more obvious than in the three active student publications, The Garland, The Forum, and Warnings. The Writing Department also supports the university's mission of eloquentia perfecta (perfect eloquence) through its First-Year Writing Projects. This page contains links to these projects, as well as links to our active and archived journals. For more information about working on or publishing in The Garland or The Forum, please contact the faculty advisor, Mr. Lucas Southworth.
The Forum and Garland has merged! Be on the lookout for information about Loyola's new literary magazine: Corridors. We will soon update this page with more information, but in the meantime we are open to fall submissions!
Submit by November 13! We are willing to consider any kind of writing, and are always excited to see new types of submissions. Submit by emailing the editors at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to send them our way.
