The Writing Center is moving! As a result we will be tutoring from a temporary location for all Evergreen appointments this summer. Beginning Thursday, June 5th, our Evergreen appointments will take place in the lounge of the Writing Department on the second floor of the Knott Humanities building.
The Writing Center is currently open for Summer II tutoring on all three campuses. For complete details, see our Summer 2014 schedule.
The Loyola Writing Center supports the writing of undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff. We work with writers in any stage of the writing process, from brainstorming to drafting to the final stages of revision, and we welcome academic work from any discipline and self-sponsored writing. Please sign up for your appointments through TutorTrac, or by emailing us, LWC@loyola.edu. We offer face-to-face appointments for undergraduate students and graduate students. In addition, graduate students may visit our locations on the Columbia or Timonium campuses or make an appointment for online tutoring.

Our practices and policies regarding online appointments have recently changed. All graduate students seeking an online appointment must be 'present' during the appointment to engage with the tutor and answer questions. A webcam and microphone are not necessary. The built-in chat function can also provide real-time communication. If you are a graduate student and you have a scheduled online appointment please follow this link to begin your tutoring session.
Please note: The Study, located on the top floor of Jenkins Hall, offers subject-specific tutoring to all enrolled undergraduate students.
