Areas of special interest or expertise you have as a writing tutor:
I enjoy reading Wr100 personal essays! I would definitely say my strength as a tutor would be sentence level revisions—grammar, syntax, etc. I can be most helpful with content for political science and theology papers.
Favorite courses at Loyola:
I enjoyed American politics and Civil Liberties (both with Dr. Kitchin!). I also loved theology, philosophy, and psychology—though I’ve only taken intro level courses.
Favorite author:
My favorite authors would probably be Jane Austen, Nicholas Sparks, Mitch Albom, and F. Scott Fitzgerald – to name a few. I also ADORE children’s books/authors, if that counts!
Recent reads:
Recently, I’ve indulged in a number of political autobiographies (An American Life, Decision Points, etc.), as well as classic light reads such as The Official Preppy Handbook – for fun.
Music you like:
Country!!
John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band, Train, Maroon 5, etc., etc.
Fun fact about you:
I’m from Boston, I hope to attend Law School after Loyola, and I am excited to be spending my junior year in Belgium!
